HUW WILLIAMS
Huw played at the club for the first time last year and went down a storm, with his well-crafted and finely-honed songs, each one an absolute belter. He’s a grand singer and a hugely entertaining performer and we are very happy to welcome him back.

There are often other events in the Arts Centre at the same time as the Davy Lamp so the car park is full at times. There is other parking available nearby. Please come early. You can always have a bite to eat in the Courtyard Bar.

(7.7.18) Huw WilliamsWe can’t believe this is the first ever appearance at the Davy Lamp for Huw! He toured far and wide as part of the duo Huw and Tony Williams, and their songs were covered by many other artists here in Britain, the USA and Europe, including Fairport Convention. Huw has been enjoying performing solo of late, with appearances at Whitby Folk Festival (and there again this year) – and is in great demand in New Zealand, where he has just completed a major tour. Huw will provide an evening of foot tapping melodies, deeply moving songs and hilarious humour. A very welcome addition to our guest list!
